These sort of things are exactly the reason why I like Google. As part of Google World Wonders project they added some interesting stuff to their Street View images. One of the recent ones are panoramic, 360-degree images of huts that the early explorers of the Antarctic, over a century ago used to live in and hide from the tough conditions of one of the coldest and hostile places on Earth.



Cool thing is, you can actually take a walk around the huts and have a good peek on how they were living, what food they were eating in a comfort of your warm, cosy home.
