@Christiedoll

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I suggest you to wait a couple of more days and then try again by going through the whole procedure. And if it still doesn't work, then yea you may want to create a new account.

@zukardeli

You can connect your IG account to FB without the automatic sharing:

When you have your IG account linked to your FB account in Share Settings tap Facebook and disable the Share Like to Timeline option if it happens to be enabled.

Hope it helps.

Mat

How do I connect a different facebook account to my instagram? I tried deleting facebook off my phone and then reinstalling and signing in with a different username and password but every time I go to instagram and click share settings and click facebook it puts it back to the same old one. Im thinking this might fix the problem but not sure

christiedoll, do the following:

On you computer:

1. login to your old Facebook account
2. in the Facebook bar above, click the drop down arrow right next to the Privacy settings lock icon and choose Settings
3. click Apps in the left menu/column
4. among the apps, find Instagram and remove it by clicking the x then confirm the removal

On your mobile device:

1. log out of your Facebook App
2. open Instagram
3. go to Options > Share Settings > Facebook (if you get an error message, ignore it)
4. now simply enter your new Facebook account credentials
5. if you get redirected to you Facebook app, go back to Instagram and Share Settings and tap Facebook again
6. you should now see your new FB profile pic and message saying "Instagram will receive the following info..."
Tap OK and if you would like FB to post your Instagram activity, tap OK once more (or Skip if you don't want that)

Let me know, if it worked for you.

If you're experiencing issues with Instagram hashtags, there are a few steps you can take to try and resolve the problem. Here are some possible solutions:

1. Check your account settings: Make sure your account is set to public and not private. Private accounts restrict the visibility of your posts to your approved followers, which means your hashtags won't be visible to others outside your follower list.

2. Use relevant and popular hashtags: <a href="https://instareelsave.com">Instagram&.... has specific guidelines for hashtags, so make sure you're using relevant and appropriate tags for your posts. Additionally, try to use hashtags that are popular but not overly generic, as your posts may get lost in a sea of other content.

3. Avoid using banned or broken hashtags: Instagram regularly updates its policies, and certain hashtags may be banned or restricted. Using such hashtags could limit the visibility of your posts or even result in your content being removed. Do some research to ensure the hashtags you're using are still allowed.

4. Clear cache and data: If you're using the Instagram app, clearing the cache and data can help resolve various issues. Go to your device's settings, find the app settings for Instagram, and clear the cache and data. Note that this will log you out of the app, so make sure you remember your login credentials.

5. Update the app: Ensure that you're using the latest version of the Instagram app. Developers frequently release updates that address bugs and improve overall performance. Check your device's app store for any available updates and install them if necessary.

6. Report the issue to Instagram: If the problem persists, you can report the issue directly to Instagram. Go to your Instagram profile, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines), select "Settings," then go to "Help" > "Report a Problem." Provide a detailed description of the issue you're experiencing, and Instagram's support team will investigate further.

Remember that resolving Instagram hashtag issues may require some patience, as it could be related to temporary glitches or changes in Instagram's algorithms.
