How to find a stolen Android phone

In this lesson, we will learn how to find your stolen Android phone with Prey Anti-Theft application.

Open Prey`s website. If you are all ready registered log in. If not please register.

Now download the Prey Anti-Theft app to your Android phone, and install it.

Search in Google Play / ex. Android Market for "Prey"

Select Yes.

Insert your email and password. Then click Track my device.

Now go to

https://panel.preyproject.com/devices

And login.

And then select your Android device

Enable Alert and insert some text, do the same with Lock function.

When you are done tap Save changes.

 
 
7.
 

Now send SMS to your phone saying GO PREY.

 
 
8.
 

In a few moments your phone will Lock it self. And report will be generated in Prey.

 
 
9.
 

First report will be created, you will receive email, when done.

 
 
10.
 

Report was generated, and now I can actually see where my phone is and call the proper authorities.

And hopefully get it back :)
