Make building taller with Photoshop

There's nothing Adobe Photoshop can't do, making skyscraper even taller shouldn't be too hard.

  Author: mat | Version: CS5 | 22nd November 2011 |

1.

Open a picture with a tall building you want to make even taller.

2.

Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the layer.

3.

In the menu click  Filter and choose Vanishing Point...

Vanishing Point window opens.

Click Create Plane Tool button (see picture).

If the view is to small to work on use the Zoom tool (Magnify glass icon).

4.

No select a part of the building just like I did.

Be aware to select the same hight on the right and on the left side of the building.

5.

Click the top of the selection and drag it up (see picture).

6.

Now choose the Stamp Tool.

You can also change the Diameter of the tool.

7.

Press and hold the Alt key and click some where at the top of the building.

8.

Release the Alt key and click to where you want to grow the building (see picture) and start clicking until it lets you.

You can press Ctrl + Z at any to redo the changes.

9.

I ran out of material so I had to choose the new source.

If this happens to you as well, again press Alt and choose the new source (see picture).

Continue clicking until you fill all the gaps and your new building is standing taller and stronger.

This may take a while to get it right, just keep on trying until you're satisfied.

Click OK when finished.

10.

Choose the Eraser Tool.

11.

And erase the redundant areas.

12.

And the mighty skyscraper grew even taller thanks to you.
