Drilling holes for wall plugs

Let's drill a hole into a wall, insert a plug in it and fix a picture frame or what ever you want hanging on a wall.

With a help of a metering tool and a pencil mark where you want to drill the hole and later on hang the object on.

You need a wall plug and a screw.

They need to be compatible of course.

Compare the drill bit to the plug, the should be pretty much the same size.

Use a proper concrete drilling drill bit.

Put it in the drill ...

... and fasten it.

Lean the drill on to the mark ...

Make sure you don't have any electricity cables or water pipes running through the wall where you're about to drill!

... start drilling slowly ...

 
 
8.
 

Drill as deep as the size of a plug is.

 
 
9.
 

Insert the plug ...

 
 
10.
 

... and carefully use a hammer to get the plug the whole way into the wall.

Take the object you want to hang on the wall ...

... put the screw in ...

... and tighten the screw.
