1.

Click here for the lesson on how to encrypt drives using the BitLocker.

With the BitLocker encrypted drive inserted, click Start and enter bitlocker into Search progams and files field.

2.

In the search results click BitLocker Drive Encryption.

3.

A new settings window opens. Seek for the encrypted drive ...

F: drive in my case.

4.

... and click Turn Off BitLocker next to it.

5.

Click Decrypt Drive ...

6.

... and wait for it to finish the decryption.

It takes the same amount of time as the encryption, meaning it depends on the size of your drive data.

7.

Done, you can use it as a regular non-encrypted drive as before.
