How to reset LG G2 to factory defaults

If for some reason your Android powered smartphone does not perform as good as it used to, or you want to sell it I suggest you to bring it to its original factory state.

1.

First of all be warned, by performing a factory reset, you will lose all your photos, videos, apps and settings on your LG G2 or any Android powered smartphone for that matter. I suggest you to back up your data to Google or your computer before proceeding with the reset.

Tap the menu/options button and choose System settings (see picture).

2.

Tap General and choose Backup & Reset.

3.

Tap Factory data reset.

4.

Tap Reset phone.

5.

Tap Erase everything.

Again, all the data stored on your phone will be deleted.

6.

Tap OK and wait for a minute or two and your LG G2 should be as snappy and "empty" as on the day you got it.
