How to crop the image in a Word document

In this lesson we will show you how to use  the enhanced cropping tool to trim and efficiently remove unwanted portions of pictures to get just the look that you want.

Open new Word document.

Write any text.

Now we will insert a picture.

Click INSERT and select Pictures

…and select any picture. I have selected the picture with a few persons.

Picture is inserted. 

 
 
6.
 

Right-click on the picture and select Crop.

 
 
7.
 

Go to the edge of the picture and hold the mouse button…

 
 
8.
 

…and drag the center cropping handle on that side inward.

 
 
9.
 

Now go to the other side of the picture…

 
 
10.
 

…and crop also the other side.

 
 
11.
 

We are done.

Now we can see only two persons on the picture. Remember that you can crop pictures from all possible angles.
