NASA's MAVEN mission - short for Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN orbiter - is launching today in less than an hour at 1:28 p.m. EST (1828 GMT) from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
MAVEN orbiter will be launched atop an Atlas 5 rocket and will make detailed measurements of the Red Planet's atmosphere. The mission should help scientists understand, the reasons behind the dramatic changes of Mars' climate, over the last few billion years. How amazing is this?
