How to get rid of ads when playing games on iPad

Let me show you a very simple yet effective trick that will stop the ads from popping up when you or your kids are playing iPad games. It can save you some money as well.

Here is an ad example in a game my 3 year old love to play. THe close button is pretty hidden and naturally little kids will tap the ad automatically.

To solve this problem there is a simple trick.

Go to  Settings.

In settings enable the Airplane Mode (ON).

Like this.

All your connections, including the Internet are now disabled, this will also prevent the ads from popping up in games and other apps.

Notice the little Airplane icon in the left upper corner on your iPad.

Next time the game is launched, ads should not be popping up anymore.

When you want your Internet/WiFi connection back, simply set the Airplane Mode back to OFF.
