How to save PowerPoint presentations as a video

If you want you can turn any Microsoft PowerPoint presentation into a video so you can play the presentation on a computer that doesn't have Microsoft Office installed.

1.

When you are ready to save your PowerPoint 2010 presentation click File and choose Save As.

2.

In the Save As options window, click the Save as type field ...

3.

... and choose Windows Media Video (*.wmv)

Remember the location on your computer you are saving to.

4.

Wait for the presentation to finish converting to a .wmv video file.

5.

And when done, go to the location where you saved the PowerPoint video presentation and play it with your favorite multimedia player such as Windows Media Player or VLC.
