How to make delicious pancakes at home

Simple, delicious and all around useful dish item that can be used as a sweet desert with jam, Nutella, peanut butter, you can use them to wrap veggies or meat in them or even put the pancake stripes in a soup instead of noddles.

Flour
Flour ( 5 spoon )
Egg
Egg ( 3 piece )
Sugar
Sugar ( 1 teaspoon )
Salt
Salt ( 1 pinch )
Oil
Oil ( 10 spoon )
Milk
Milk ( 2 cup )
 
  Persons : 3 | Preparing: 10 min | Making: 2 min | Cleaning: 2 min

Crack 3 eggs into a bowl.

Add  2 cups of milk.

Add about 5 spoons of flour.

Add about 1 tea spoon of sugar.

Add a pinch of salt.

Whisk everything together.

You can also use an electric mixer but be careful not to turn it 2 foamy.

At this point you can also add a half of a cup of sparkling mineral water to make the pancakes a bit fluffier if that is what you like.

Whisk it until the mixture is smooth lump-free.

Take the frying pan and put it on the hot plate/cooker -
should be set to about the heat of 8/10.

Add only a few drops of oil.

You can use olive oil, vegetable oil, any frying oil for that matter or even butter.

Wait until the oil gets hot.

Do not overheat it, it shouldn't get to the point of smoking. It's ready when the oil forms into to drops and you can spread it all over the pan by slightly moving the frying pan into different directions.

Now add the pancake mixture. The mixture should cover the frying pan bottom.

You can use the ladle.

Let it cook for about 1 to 2 minutes then use the spatula and carefully remove it from the bottom of the pan ...

When the pancake is ready to be flipped it shouldn't be hard to remove it from the bottom. Yet start carefully at the edge of the pancake.

... and flip it around then let it cook for about a minute.

Then use the spatula again to remove it of the bottom ...

... and slide onto the plate.

No repeat the step 9 to 15 until the pancake mixture is gone.

If you like your pancakes thicker then add more mixture into the frying pan.

The more mixture you add, longer the cooking time on each side.

Now spread some Nutella, Jam, peanut butter onto the pancake. Or you can add some veggies, seasoning, fried or grilled meat, sky is basically the limit. Then roll the pancake or bend it over twice.

If you are using the pancakes as a desert you can add a few drops of lemon juice and a bit of sugar as well.
